Danish brewer Carlsberg A/S has confidentially filed draft papers for an initial public offering (IPO) of its India business, aiming to raise up to $700 million (around ₹6,650 crore) through a secondary share sale. The proposed listing, expected later this year, comes amid strong momentum in India’s IPO market and could unlock value for the country’s second-largest beer maker. According to reports, Carlsberg is working with Kotak Mahindra Capital, JPMorgan’s India unit, and Citigroup’s India unit on the proposed offering. The company has not officially announced the timeline or size of the proposed offering.
