Dusit International has opened WE Hotel Toya, Dusit Collection, in Hokkaido, marking the brand’s first Dusit Collection property in Japan and Dusit’s third hotel in the country. Originally opened in 2018 and designed by renowned Kengo Kuma & Associates, the luxury property features 55 lake-view guestrooms and three private villas. Each 37-square-metre room includes a private open-air bath overlooking Lake Tōya. According to Chanin Donavanik, Group CEO, Dusit International, the opening strengthens Japan’s strategic importance while showcasing Thai-inspired hospitality, thoughtful design, and personalised luxury experiences.
