Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has signed a 30-key Tree of Life resort at Chilika Lake, marking the brand’s entry into Odisha. The greenfield project reflects IHCL’s strategy to expand into emerging experiential travel destinations. Located on the banks of Asia’s largest brackish water lagoon, the resort will feature lake-view rooms, an all-day dining restaurant, bar, spa, swimming pool, and meeting facilities. Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate & Development, IHCL, said the project aligns with the growing demand for immersive, nature-led stays. The resort is being developed in partnership with Scania Steels and Powers.
