Ajman is stepping up its India tourism push with a new incentive programme aimed at travel agents and tour operators, offering them a commercial boost for driving bookings to the emirate.
The Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media has launched the ‘Ajman Partner’ Tourism Growth Incentive Programme, which will run from September 15 to December 1. Eligible Indian travel trade partners can earn performance-based incentives on confirmed passenger bookings to Ajman.
The initiative was announced during the department’s recent roadshow in Mumbai, Chennai and Hyderabad, where Ajman officials met travel agents, tour operators and other industry partners to promote the destination and explore new business opportunities.
For Indian travel trade, the scheme provides an added commercial incentive to include Ajman in UAE itineraries and holiday packages, potentially giving agents another destination to sell alongside Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The emirate is positioning itself around culture and heritage, leisure, nature, family experiences, hospitality and business events.
Mahmood Alhashmi, Director General, Ajman Department of Tourism, Culture and Media, said, “India remains a key market for diversifying Ajman’s international visitor base. He highlighted the programme as a way for Indian travel partners to expand their portfolios, generate bookings and contribute to visitor growth.”
Neeti Sharma, Director, Intrepid Marketing & Communications, said, “Ajman’s mix of experiences is well suited to the evolving preferences of Indian travellers, while the incentive programme could provide additional momentum during an important travel period.”
The initiative supports Ajman Vision 2030 and reflects the emirate’s broader effort to deepen ties with India’s travel trade.
